Bio: Dave Morrison lives in Orkney, a small island to the North of Scotland. He plays gigs locally but would like to travel with his music. He is currently working on his first solo album. His Utube name is Davemorag1.

    Hi Dave,

    I enjoyed this tune. Although I feel it lacks a definitive hook it's a rather pleasant listen. I feel the “hookiest” part is the sliding guitar sounds that sort of dive down through the music vs. any vocal portion of the song…interesting and quirky! Albeit, I can tell where the choruses are and that you mean for them to be your hook. If there's not going to be any additional harmonies on this acoustic number, might I recommend a bit more “passion” when you get to these passages.

    I like the words and melody plenty and the languid feel of the song. I'd like to see you work this one over and take me to those “star fields” that She's got…help me to feel more with the energy of the song. It's not a bad number at all but needs a bit more mmmpphhhffff to draw me in on a personal note.

    Thank you for sharing your original music with us…it is always a more rewarding experience, for me as a listener, to hear another artist’s inner-voice speaking through the music than it is to listen to someone regurgitate a great song that someone else has already written.
