Hiya Doug,

If you want the guitar to go direct to the PA and not be affected by the effects in the Harmony-G XT then you can use the guitar "Thru" to send it to a seperate channel.

Using the "Thru" connector doesn't affect the way your guitar influences your harmonies at all.

The dotted XLR line is simply showing that if you are using a stereo PA you can run the second output into a seperate channel on the mixer.

Hope this helps .

Best wishes,

Joey

I am new to the HG-XT. If I use the Acoustic Guitar Setup on page 11 how do I also run my acoustic guitar directly into the board. Do I use the Thru like in the Electric Guitar Setup? Does using the Thru change how the guitar influences the harmonies? What does the dotted line coming from the XLR output signify? Is that the same signal as the Thru?

Thanks Doug
