I think I got mine in around 2003 and I'd guess it was around 2002 when it first came out, but I'm not totally sure.

Also if anyone knows a site or has some stereo recordings done with like an M/S pair or blumlein pair used with the NT2000 that i could use in my report, this would really be appreciated.
