Topic: Voiceworksplus (multiple voices and footpedal)

It is possible to connect voiceworks to a mixer, and then use it with multiple voices? I'm not expecting it to have all effects working nice these way, but what type of effects should i expect to have it working?.

Another question, is possible to connect any foot pedal to it? and to access directly to presets? I would like to have a foot pedal with many switchs as possible and access directly the funcionalities with it.

Hiya eltonmachado,

You could easily set up your VoiceWorks Plus as shown in this video:-

I would expect that the majority of effects would work well on multiple voices however you will struggle to get the right effect with harmonies as they are designed for a monophonic input (i.e. one voice only).

As far as a footswitch goes - I would recommend the Switch-3 ( http://www.tc-helicon.com/switch-3.asp ).

Hope that helps! For further help and advice, feel free to contact TC-Helicon's Support team anytime via www.tc-helicon.com/support.asp

Hi Joey and all others,

Thanks very much for the help to improve my experience with my TC Helicon,  I would try the sugestion at the video.

Just one more thing when you refer about harmonies you refer the presets that need instruments connected to it? Like tone correction and so on? Cause we don't want at least for now use for it as we have 4 voices and none of then use instruments, we just go for the echos, reverbs, and delays. Would be satisfactory for it? There are any tips about how to achieve a near results from the examples on video? Any sugestion about how to step by step to get nice results on it on see?

Kind regards,

Elton

Re: Voiceworksplus (multiple voices and footpedal)

Hiya Elton,

The Delay's and Reverbs will be absolutely fine on multiple voices.

As far as detailed instructions for a good sound step-by-step I would have to say the best thing to do here is use your ears. All situations, rooms etc are different so especially in terms of reverb there isn't "one perfect sound" for everything. With a bit of help from the manual and a lot of listening I am sure you will be able to come up with the sound that you are after.

You can also get in touch with TC-Helicon's support team anytime via www.tc-helicon.com/support.asp for further advice and help smile.
