Topic: Correct XT newbie

Hi,

Just wanted to say that I stopped by the TC Helicon booth at NAMM 2011 and was so impressed by the Correct XT that I went home and ordered one.  Hopefully it should arrive in a day or two.   I tried all the TC Helicon boxes, but Correct XT was the one that blew me away.   I don't know if you're familiar with the infamous "Troggs Tapes" but if you are, then you'll know what I mean when I say they could easily have named this box "F---in' Fairy Dust!"

I am a jazz singer and some of the tunes I sing are rapid vocalese.  My material sounded great through the Correct XT at NAMM -- with and without the auto-oorrect.  But I have to wonder whether the Auto-Correct set at 12 o'clock has time to kick in on rapidly sung notes?  Exactly what is getting adjusted when you turn the Auto-Correct knob?

Re: Correct XT newbie

Hiya jazmaan,

I might have seen you at NAMM then! Glad you were impressed with the Correct XT smile.

When adjusting the auto-correct knob, it's simply the speed and the amount of autochromatic pitch correction - with 12 o'clock being the most natural sounding setting.

For a more in depth explanation, you might wish to ask TC-Helicon's support team via www.tc-helicon.com/support.asp

Best wishes,

Joey
