Topic: Voice Live EQ

I have the original Voice Live. I play a tenor sax through it. Lately I've noticed the EQ is sounding more "tinny". Last night I had to run a direct line as well as the effects line to board to fatten (blend) the sound. Is there a setting I'm not aware of on this to adjust the EQ? I also read here about the "mix" coming up on the display problem. I've had this happen and other strange things appear. I would correct this by unplugging it and resetting it that way. I've just written to support to see what to do about it. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Vinny

Re: Voice Live EQ

Hiya Vinny,

You definitely did the right thing by contacting support about this one as it sounds like a specific issue and they are the best people to help you troubleshoot this.

Please let me know how you get on.

Best wishes,

Joey

Re: Voice Live EQ

Well, they did get back to me on this. They said that it's fixed with a software update. The problem is, is that I do not have a way to get a MIDI out of my computer and in to my VL. I have a Karma Keyboard and a Roland Fantom X6 Keyboard.
Is there a way to use a keyboard to update my VL?

Re: Voice Live EQ

Hiya Vinny,

Unfortunately I can't think of a way to acheive this using a keyboard. I'm afraid the only way to do this would be by using a USB to MIDI interface.

If there is a way to do this then support would probably know. It might be worth getting in touch with them again to see if they have any suggestions.

Best wishes,
