Topic: Finally?
Well. I have been looking my ideal setup. Great clean vocals with rvb/delay/tap tempo and a good distorted/overdrive sound.
Currently i have been running two mics.
one- through a pod xt live using its tube screamer with delay/tap. (The biggest problem is avoiding feedback!!!!!!!!! I have tried overdriven mic tube pre and overdrive pedals etc.) The pod is the only solution i have found so far. (And even that does not have the out put signal i need and is still sensitive to feedback, and i have never been too keen about running vocals through a guitar pedal)
the second- good clean through my voice prism plus (which has no tap tempo and cuts signal when you singing and switch from one bank to another-if you were so inclined to change fx)
SO I guess i'll try voicetone create. We'll see. I am hesitant to run one mic with dist and clean just cause signals usually vary and sound guys always freakout when switching back and forth. (i have even tried compressors which helps a little)
After reading the manual though, it was a little unclear how you mix more than on fx at the same time. say distortion with reverb and delay? it looks like that would require three patches assigned to one performance button?
I guess i'll stop rambling. Anyone want to chime in?
