Topic: Redmond, Washington

I've been a musician all my life. Gigged for a couple years in an Irish/Celtic band, but only singing/playing at home recently. Now just getting out again, doing open mics, busking, etc. as a singer/songwriter with acoustic guitar.

First open mic with VL2 was a disaster, but not the fault of the VL2. Set it up wrong in my hurry on stage, guitar signal was WAY too hot, distorted my acoustic guitar and totally blanketed my voice.

Just looking to play. Mostly do my own songs, a few covers. I like gadgets, and the VL2 really seems great. Right now my only "wish" on it, is that it used 9v so I could power it with the same device that does my other pedals.

Re: Redmond, Washington

welcome. I see you have posted in a few threads to help. a battery would be nice too. the cable for the adapter is pretty short.
