Topic: What songs for Harmony G XT?? What songs have good Harmony parts?

Can you give me a list of the songs you use your Harmony G XT or other TC product for adding harmonies?  And what do you use?  High and Higher, Low and Higher, etc.  Thanks!!!  I am just getting into doing covers with it and need some suggestions.  I do my own songs and it fits really well.  There are times where it is just too much, so I would love to start a conversation so we can trade back and forth ideas.

Eagles-Take it Easy High and Higer
Amazing Grace Higer and Low sounds great but really High and Higher too..

I will add them as I think of them.. Thanks!

What I will tell you is that first I think the GXT does a great job for harmonies if you are a guitar player and don't have access to MIDI.The issue is, especially doing covers, you wont be able to recreate the actual harmony parts of the records. With a midi unit you can. With a lot of work to program each note. Just a little insight as what to expect and not expect.

As a heavily gigging solo musician it would be easier for me to answer if your question was "what songs do you NOT use the G-XT with?". LOL!
Seriously, there are a few songs that I do not use the G-XT with such as 'Simple Man' (Shinedown version) and 'The Way' by Fastball. As for what I DO use it with...well, everything else!!!
Breaking my catalog up into decades a few of my favorites that really showcase the G-XT;
60's - The Letter by The Box Tops
All My Lovin' - The Beatles (high and low harmonies. I've had people tell me that their mouths fell open when they heard that! Wait for the second chorus to engage!)
70' - Doctor My Eyes - Joe Jackson
80's - American Girl - Tom Petty (used only on the end chorus)
90's Soooo many to choose from! If You Could Only See - Tonic, Wherever you Will Go - The Calling etc
2000's - Pumped Up Kicks by Foster the People is crowd fav when I do it. Works fantastic!

Like I said...I use it for all but a few songs. the key is to not OVER use it within the song itself. Pepper it in just where it needs it. Also, for all but the high and low combo I use on All My Lovin', I simply just use the 'high' setting for everything. I plan on using the doubler on a few songs as soon as I get the floor delay for songs like Wonderwall by Oasis.

Oddlycalm: Your useing a 3rd and 5th up for All My Loving? I have tried it that way and it doesn't seem to sound right. I use just a 3rd up.
