Topic: Help with using Create pedal

After purchasing a VoiceLive unit and unsuccessfully using it at rehearsal and practice (buzzing, incompatibility with P.A. systems, etc) I opted for the VoiceLive create. So far, it seems like a better fit since I'm not interested in the harmonies or the pitch correction. What I am unclear on, however, is the use of the tweak knobs. When using the factory presets, should the tweak knobs (x and y) be turned all the way down (7:00 o'clock position) or half-way (12:00 o'clock position)?  The manual does not make this clear. Also, which presets are best for a hard-rock, hair-metal type of singer? Has anyone come up with any great custom settings whic\h might really compliment that genre? I'd love to find a good thickening setting with some really good reverb.

Thanks,

Jeff

Re: Help with using Create pedal

Hi... first off to make more use of your VoiceLive, check out one of our top news items this month, "VoiceLive Presets"...  But back to the VoiceTone Create pedal.

1). The Tweek knobs are to assist you in customizing your factory presets.  You can get more information on how to do that with the new SUPER EDIT MODE Manual, found here http://www.tc-helicon.com/Default.asp?Id=11753

2). Im a rocker, the two factory presets with create Im using right now that seem to serve well is #13 Reverb & #23 Delay... There are several nice thickening presets... most are great so find one there you like... then you can "tweek" it to your liking.

BTW,... when you get a chance, pick up the "Correct" pedal as well because it gives you your own compression and EQ shaping...

I hope this helps.

Re: Help with using Create pedal

Thanks, Robert. I will check the Super Edit manual out. Back to my question, though, should the tweak knobs be set all the way down (7:00) or 1/2 way up (12:00) to use the presets as they were intended?

Thanks,

Jeff
