Shortcut Switch not working properly

Within the past 2 months the Shortcut switch on my VL2 has been malfunctioning. Sometimes it works and it triggers my assigned tasks, but other times it won't recognize that i've pushed it at all. To further illustrate.  For one of my banks, I have the shortcut controlling the delay's tap tempo.  I begin tapping on the shortcut switch to change the tempo and it stays the same regardless of how fast i'm tapping.  On another bank I have the shortcut triggering a hardtune.  When I tap on the shortcut, the effect remains unactivated.  As I mentioned above, sometimes the shortcut switch works perfectly and other times I experience problems as previously listed.  Please help!!
