Topic: Hey New hear but Hope to have a question answered

I tried to send TC a message via their support contact form but it bombed on me because I didn't have a serial number.

I am wanting to know if the VL Play can be used in the AUX bus of a mixer.  More specifically if it can handle Line level signals at input.  We do a lot of shows where we don't control the sound, and some of these places refuse to put any effects in front of the mixer.  It would also be handy to have one VL running in an AUX bus to supply efx to the background vocals in our band.

Hi Mike,

Yep, you can run in an Aux loop. Just turn the mic gain all the way down and then moderate the amount of send so that you're not clipping (Red LED).

It should work out just fine. It's interesting to hear of clubs not allowing effects in the signal chain. I'd be pretty upset if it were my show and the club was trying to impede on it.

Thanks Craig, most of the clubs around here, the sound guys have limited knowledge... no offence to them ... once they get some experience at the small clubs they usually take off to bigger and better things.
