It's been a while since my last post, where I said I'd do some further testing (new mic cables etc.)
I had trouble with both the shortcut tempo and VL2 freezing during performance.. (see post:  2011-12-14 20:40:26)

My VL2 has sometimes frozen after 1-2 hours …(I use the Clavia NS2 now, but the freezing has occurred using Yamaha, Roland and Korg pianos as well)
Midi out from keyboard/piano to VL2's midi in…. VL2 settings: filtering pc and sysex, cc change off  …VL2 freezes receiving only notes??

Please provide us with this fix asap (this week) …it's a struggle to perform with the VL2 now, not knowing if it will "make it through the night…" without freezes and restarts.  …but when it's working, there's nothing that can be compared to VL2 soundvice …at least not in one unit…

It won't be this week. We're fighting really hard to fix the MIDI Random Freezing bug that's been discussed in other threads, which is equally performance crushing for the folks that its affecting.

Have you tried the quick fix? Set Shortcut to something like Choir On/Off, set the Choir level to 0. That way, the choir turns on and off under the hood and doesn't affect the sound of the patch. You can still press/hold delay to access tap tempo. It's not super elegant, but hopefully can get you through a gig or two while we work on things.

Unlikely. We're still working on the MIDI issue and will need to test things thoroughly before release. You guys will be the first to know.

Sorry pshy, like I said it's a complex work in progress. I'll work it out so folks here get the build to help Beta test the release before the public gets it (as long as reports are filled out etc.) but we can't release anything until it's done.

If I give a date and miss it, everyone will be upset. We're literally working on things as I type this.

Hi Guys, what is the status of this fix, I hope it has not been put aside, I really need this to be fixed! I had my unit sent back to Tc for repair and came back as no fault found!! This is a known problem and is really getting in the way of my work.
I love my voicelive but now it's just a joke. I hope you all agree! We need to push for a release ASAP.
