Topic: two singers

Hi friends,
I just bought the voiceworks plus and my problem now is that we are a cover band with two lead singers, sometimes one is the main and the other chorus and vice versa...so my problem is how to optimize my helicon for both singers....yes I read before that voiceworks is not made for 2 singers but anyway....anyone have any idea or experience with this?

regards

Re: two singers

Hi manu77gg,

If you use the VoiceWorks Plus on an Aux send, you could use spatial effects like Reverb and Delay on more than one singer's voice. The issues come when trying to use Harmony, Doubling, Correction etc. since the box gets confused about which voice is which.

If you're using the Harmony processing, there's really no way around it but to have a unit for each singer.

Cheers,
Craig

Re: two singers

Thanks Craig,
yes my idea is to use it by aux send, and try to use the harmony when only one is singing using the pedal.

cheers
Manuel

Re: two singers

you can feed the signal with an aux on the board to the voice unit and just change the send on the board for whoever is needing the harmony for that song. you'll need a seperate fx unit for overall fx though. we are using my voicelive touch that way now. I still have to do the footswitching and such but the harmony can be assigned to any of 3 singers in our band.
