Topic: Voicelive 3 ?

Don't get me wrong, I love my VL2, and the fact that Helicon have added a lot of functionality to it through firmware updates speaks volumes about the company.

But I'd love to know if there's a Voicelive 3 on the way, purely for a device that does all that the 2 does but allows singers to customise it even more, and is also designed with looping in mind from the start. Y'know, I hate people who usually post this kind of thing, so I totally understand if this post goes under.

It's just that I would pay a lot of money for a VL that has dedicated loop start, o-dub and stop buttons - wouldn't that just be perfect? Not least because you currently have to double-tap the shortcut button to stop a loop (not great for tight cutting), and you also have to hold it down to delete a loop, which plays it for a moment, meaning you have to mute the box before you do it.

But another 3 buttons? Man, this things getting prooty crowded now. But, does anyone ever use FX and uMod? Or at least turn them on or off during a song? Well, I don't, but I'm probably just being daft thinking that they don't. So what's the solution?

Make all 8 buttons (forgetting preset switches) completely assignable within a preset, with a small LCD screen above each stating their current function. Now THAT would be the beastiest thing that ever sat under my left foot at a gig.

It's ok Helicon, that's a freebie wink

Anybody agree/disagree?

Re: Voicelive 3 ?

Hi Huwbutts,

I can say with absolute certainty that we are working on REDACTED BY TC-H MANAGEMENT and it's going to be soooo cool!

It's going to have REDACTED BY TC-H MANAGEMENT and REDACTED BY TC-H MANAGEMENT!

You can even configure it to REDACTED BY TC-H MANAGEMENT with the REDACTED BY TC-H MANAGEMENT if you want to!

I can't wait to unveil the REDACTED BY TC-H MANAGEMENT. The date? Probably REDACTED BY TC-H MANAGEMENT.

Cheers,
Craig

P.S. You know I'd love to tell you stuff, but I can't.
