Topic: Can't load Vyzor for VoiceWorks

I just picked up a nice used Voiceworks unit and I'd like to use the Vyzor editor to configure my presets.  I won't be using MIDI live, if that matters.  The problem I'm having is that I can't figure out how to load Vyzor into my PC (Windows-XP).  I downloaded it, and all I get is some message about 16-bit configuration not being compatible......... maybe my PC is running something in 32-bit?  I'm lost anyway.  I certainly don't want to start changing default parameters for my computer unless I know what I'm doing.  I could get the exact error message tonight if I try and run it again.  What's the deal here?  Is there a newer version of the editor available?

Thanks

EDIT:  OK, here's the error message:

"C:\Windows\System32\Autoexec.NT.  The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications."

I've tried downloading the program from both the TC Helicon site and PSICraft with the same results.

Something's hosed! sad

I haven't heard this complaint before. Have you tried contacting Psicraft? webmaster@psicraft.com

Re: Can't load Vyzor for VoiceWorks

I sent an email last night, but haven't heard anything back yet.  Hopefully it's just something simple.

Brian,

As I understand the editors for VoiceLive, VoiceWorks and VoiceWorksPlus are being updated for (at least) Mac Universal Binary compatibility. I just received and email stating the due date for these is May 2nd. Hope this helps.

Thanks Tom - I'll keep watching for that release.  Until then, I guess I can practice doing the stuff manually.  tongue
