Topic: VW+ Voice modelling and harmonies

Hi everone..I just recently purchased a voiceworks plus and I am a little confused...Is it possible to have harmonies added to a voice model. ie, "Younger Breath" and add "3 Above 5 Below" to that voice model? I love the unit but have the same complaint...the manual sucks!

Hiya,

Tom and I spoke about this and I now have the definitive answer for you.

It is not possible to have harmonies WITH a modelled voice as the lead voice in VoiceWorks Plus. It is however possible to pitch shift a modelled voice in scale / key mode or via midi to melody so it can act as a harmony against your dry unmodelled voice.

The reason for this is that in fact we purely don’t have the DSP to be able to do both at the same time.

Apologies for the confusion. If I can be of any more help, please let me know.

Best wishes,

Joey
