Age is definitely a factor.  I'm going through age related changes with hoarseness and uncontrollable flips up into falsetto....much like an "old" person sounds when talking...kinda like yodeling.  It started at age 52.  My hoarseness was partially brought on by reflux.  So if you are having symptoms in the morning, it could be reflux.  I had it my whole life until it was discovered recently, so the damage may be permanent.  I've heard many stories like yours and the average age seems to be around 40.  Some older singers are perfect until death....lots of us lose it.  Kinda like losing hair....some do, some don't. 

I have to change the way that I sing now with the help of my ENT doc....it's difficult and not as good, but some changes are for the better in general.  I can at least play clubs and continue to record, but I would never try to compete on a show like American Idol.

That T-Pain effect goes away as other effects are added.  Pitch correction doesn't do its job when other nice effects are laid on top.   Preset: The "LEAD LEVEL" parameter in the Delay section has been turn to OFF, as well as the LEAD LEVEL adjustments of the other effect sections, except for the FX section, LEAD FX is selected.  It seemed to help but not nearly enough. 

For example, I'd like to hear the T-Pain effect with full delay and reverb, as in feeding that effect to the other effects, but the T-Pain gets sort of washed out and mixed in with the others.  Is this intentional in the architecture of the VL2, or am I doing something wrong?  Thanks.

I have the first version 1.1.00.  I'd like to try out the latest version 1.4; however, if I don't like it, I'd like to reload 1.1. 

Can I save the current 1.1, and/or can I download it from support?  I looked for it in my voicelive support program, but only 1.4 was listed.  Thanks.

I've got the global parameters off.  I have version 1.1.00.

When I save the hardtune key for one preset, it changes to the same key for all presets.  It's driving me nuts. 

Harmony Tab
Natural Play
"Scale"

FX Tab
Hardtune Key
"Follow Harmony"

Key
"A" 

Or.....

FX Tab
Hardtune Key
"Manual/Custom"

Key
"A"

No matter what the settings are, the presets all end up with the same key....the key of the last saved preset.
