Topic: Good singers - do you have flat, normal, or arched feet.

I don't want to say at the head of this thread what has lead me to ask this, I would simply to ask those of you out there who have singing voices which are regarded as good to fantastic by others - do you have flat feet, normal feet, or high arched feet? All will be revieled after some posts have been made.

One word replies are fine.

They are flat if the majority of your foot is in contact with the floor when standing upright with bare feet, normal if the outside edge is on the floor and the inside edge is arched off the floor, and arched if the majority of the middle of your foot is off the floor in a high arch with most of your weight on the ball and heel.

I think it is critical to good/bad posture in relation to good/bad singing.

I have to confess that I'm disappointed with the number of replies, but perhaps I should have stated at the beginning what this is about.

I have flat feet. Whilst looking at information produced by foot-bed correction orthotics I noticed that the picture of the posture of a person with flat feet was almost identical to the picture of the incorrect posture for singing found in the book (and CD) I have on how to sing.

I was never blessed with a naturally beautiful voice and have worked hard against the odds to keep my place in entertainment over the years. If it weren’t for my combining comedy with singing, I would probably found a 'proper' job ages ago.

So hence my wanting to survey others. The question being do normal and hollow feeted people sing better than flat-footed people, and can flat footed singers improve by wearing high arch innersoles?

I have been trying to improve my posture and I think my singing is improving.

Your thioughts please.....

for exemple, Pavarotti is flat foot, and Freddy mercury is arched foot....think what you want about this, but i really think the foot form do not have influence on your voice....i think your posture is the good reason of your voice.
