Topic: Voice Live 2 - Using USB for Audio with a DAW
Hi, I have just invested in a Voice Live 2 after reading up on the features and new processing power capabilities that this new Voice Live 2 version possesses.. However the ultimate deciding factor that sold me and made me decide to invest in it, was the mentioning in the YouTube video around 1 minute 10 seconds into the video (see link below), that the Voice Live 2 (being connected to the laptop via USB) was being used as an insert effect, having the lead vocal and a guitar track being sent to the Voice Live 2 via USB for vocal processing and adding effects and then being sent back via the USB to the DAW running on the laptop.
My question is how do I perform this very same setup to use the Voice Live 2 as an insert processor as shown in the TC Helicon YouTube video post (see link below):-

I'm using Logic Studio 9 on a MacBook Pro 17" 'unibody' with 8GB RAM and naturally the Voice Live 2. When attempting this I was unable to identify the Voice Live 2 as any insert/plugin or any device that could be chosen to route and send vocal audio to and back from, I only seem able to choose it at the moment as the complete Stereo Input and output via Logic 9's Main Input/Output Audio Preferences in which I particularly did not want to send Logic 9's entire stereo output to..
In addition to this, if I plug in my Apogee Duet in the seperate Firewire port, I seem unable to receive audio using a different configuration of having the Voice Live 2 as the Stereo input when setting Logic 9 main Audio In as 'Voice Live' and Logic 9 main Audio Out as the Duet, I can hear the Logic tracks through the Duet but no Voice Live 2 is present?
What am I doing wrong with these two configurations? The TC Helicon YouTube video again (Ref. approx 1 minute 10 seconds into video):-
