Topic: Settings for Bose L1 System 2
I am using my Voicelive 2 with a Bose L1 System 2, with two bass cabnets. Does anyone have suggestions for good settings that work well for that system? Thanks.

Hi there, I use the same system for my performances and found it quite hard to get the setup right as niether Bose nor TC Helicon seemed to know how the other units work! I suppose it's because both are quite new products.
Anyway I can only tell you how I have mine set (there may be a far better way, and I'm still looking for it).
I'm assuming that as well as the L1 mkII, you also have the T1 Tonematch and that you've worked out which cables go where... As far as the sound to the T1 goes, I simply set it up as if the Voicelive2 wasn't there. ie if I'm using my SM58 mic into the VL2 then that's what I set the T1 to accept as an input instrument. I've tried to tinker with the settings to see if I could improve on the sound but nothing sounds as good as the appropriate presets. The complicated bit comes I suppose, if you are using a guitar etc to create your harmonies, unfortunatly I can't help at all there as I don't use one, I set them using the input from my backing tracks played from a laptop and then mute the music coming out on the return so that I still get the same clear rich sound without the tangle of music.
Hope this has helped in any way, and if if can be of any other assistance, let me know. Oh yeah, and let me know if you find anything out about these great units. As I said, there doesn't appear to be many of us out here using these, so it's good to know I'm not alone lol ![]()
I just use three patches that i developed from the pop duo preset. one up, a one up one down, and a one down. I leave the pitch correction off. I edited the reverb to snappy room and changed the delay setting to about 250 mSec. I may have tweeked some harmony gender. I do the same as suggested above with the T1 tonematch setting.
I have yet to be able to use doubling effect without muddying up things.
I just started using a voiceplay live with Bose L1 and two bass cabs and have a feedback problem. No headroom at all on the mike? very Odd. Is this most likely to be related to the pre-sets on the Bose rather than the voiceplay unit?
