Topic: Newbie needing help with live setup

Hello All!
I just got my VL2 and am getting ready to introduce it to my band (80's music). Everything is live except for our keyboards which have been recorded through pro-tools and are downloaded to WAV files on an ipod that runs through mixer/pa.  (drummer plays to click track). I would like to use the keyboards playing from the ipod to control harmonies. It seems like from everything I have read here that I can do that.? How do I hook everything up with VL2? Please be specific as I am not an engineer but will have one helping me when I hook up. THANK YOU for patience with newbie and your time for answering my questions!!

Re: Newbie needing help with live setup

Hi,

- plug the mike in the MIC input
- plug ipod in the AUX input
- feed P/A with VL2 L & R outputs (TRS or XLR)

Adjust levels and GO !

Please note that keyboard parts must contain 'clean' chords (basically root and 3rd) to obtain a good chord recognition (necessary if you wanna use harmos or 'Cher-like' effect without fixed-key).
