HA HA HA-Steopxstep to hell-2 audio interfaces Cubase 5 and Vocalworks

Since when is an a midi editor encumbered and destroyed by engineers who want to tie it to a second independent audio interface?
So if I want to use  the audio editor in cubase 5, my cost of interface is doubled. 
No seriously, this couldn't be right, so I assumed you meant MIDI...2 MIDI INTERFACES. 
Yeah well that works in Xlutop Chainer with  a mic input(Vyzor) why not Cubase?
 
But where's the clear step by step that another asked for on this subject.   I doubt there is such a thing for ANY device made on the Earth.

You mean to tell me me that  TC, with its great editing capabilities has designed a device that cannot be software edited  via midi alone?
 
I've got the audio taken care of...now I need a midi editor as usual..but this?
Soundquest midi quest won't work either??
There must be some way to have midi control without a reinvolvement in audio.
Oh and by the way, Cubase cannot use 2 sudio interfaces at same time...ha ha ha
Is this really that "crutched: up?

PS-  This is a really good unit....I will post this over at Vyzor too
