Quick update...

Good news.  Guitar Center is arranging to take my current unit back and will ship me a replacement...at no charge.  It will take a few weeks for everything to sort itself out.  They will also take care of any brokerage fees or extra duties/taxes I incur as a result of shipping from the US to Canada.  Not too shabby.

The other good news is that TC is updating their Voice Support tool to prevent VoiceLive 2 Extreme owners from downloading firmware updates intended for the regular VL2 product.  Not sure if that has been implemented yet...but they seemed pretty responsive.

TC and GC support rocks!  You too...Joey!  :-)

I have a new Voicelive and my LCD screen has just started to crap out. Its like the contrast has dimmed considerably and I can bearly read the display even after turning the contrast up to 15 in the settings. Everything else seems to be working fine though. It is a bit upsetting to have spent all this money and to be having problems with literally only hours of use since new. Can anyone point me in the right direction, love the unit and want to get it fixed, however my unit was brought in the states and brought back to New Zealand for me! Help please!

Hi Joey, and everybody.
I'm from Brazil, and i've got my VL2 last month, after one week using it, i went to update the firmware, and the same blank screen with the "home" button lit came to me.
I had this gig at september 27th and my VL2 is dead!
I've sent an e-mail to TC support, i've made all the midi procedure like tc's website orientation and nothing.  TC answered my e-mail and sent me to their reapresentant here in Brazil,i went there and they told me that the digital board has been burned, i'm not buying it, because is brand new, i took it out from the box last month! I'm desperate, don't know what to do and i can't pay the R$600,00 ($260,00)they are asking me! i'm feeling robbed!!!

Can someone help me please?

Luciano, I had a smilar problem (see my earlier posts in this thread), basically I had frazzled the board when the Firmware upgrade was interupted by by a power blip. I still have a problem with this "feature" of the Firware upgrade process.

Ok guys just got TC VL 2extreme yesterday!!!I ve upgrade it with latest firmware and sometimes it turns on fine other times i just get blue screen and red light on home button. What else can i do than the latest update.??? should i send it back. I just got it how can i expect thet the other one will be ok???

Problem is still on the voicesupport version 1.01, the cd that comes with the Extreme.

Cant't believe that TC Helicon are still having this BSOD problem almost a year later !! Joey.......did the technical team ever pinpoint the cause of the problem ?

I was able to send it back to TC, which wasn't an easy process, now they have it, confirmed arrival, but been ages since I've heard from them, no news. :-(

Has been only been just over a month since they sent me confirmation that VL2 Ex have arrived. Feels like forever, died 10/2011, really keen to see what this unit can do. Anyway this is what I got.
