Topic: audacity

hey guys
has anyone tried to use audacity as a recorder? ive heard some people say its a pretty good recorder for over lapping instruments and vocals i had one friend who just plugged her mic into her computer and did all her recording and little edits and was wondering if really was any good as it sounds

We use it to record and it works well for what we do - we run all the instruments and mics into a Jamhub, USB into Audacity, trim and export to MP3.
