Topic: Choosing which device(s) to use

Hi Joey (and everyone),

Thanks Joey for your replies in my previous posts in other locations.  You also answered my question in a separate post about finding all the factory presets (or styles) in the Create XT - I now own both the original Create and the Create XT   hahaha   I'll sell one or both soon, I expect.  I'm continuing to do my research on all TC Helicon products as...
1:  I really like the product line
2:  I'd ideally like to decide on all the features I want and try to get them all in one package.

I really like the concept of the VoiceLive touch fingertip controls and I would love it if all the features I want comes in that one device.  I'm not sure if it does the subtle autochromatic pitch correction that the Correct XT does.  Nor am I sure if it has the anti-feedback capability that the Correct XT has.

I'm pretty sure if I had the Create XT, the Correct XT and the Harmony - G XT would provide every feature that I want - but - I'd prefer to have everything in one unit - preferably the VoiceLive Touch
Here's the features I like and want:
Factory effects samples/presets - the more the merrier!
The ability to alter each sample/preset and save as a favorite.
10 - 25 spots to store these favorites for easy access would be nice.
Pitch correction (the subtle autochromatic pitch correction)
    Harmony
    Anti-feedback.

So, like I said, I'm pretty sure I can get all these features if I had all three Create XT, Correct XT and Harmony G XT stomp boxes - but that is rather cumbersome.  If I get the VoiceLive Touch, what would I be compromising on?  Pitch correction?  Anti-feedback?

Could you give me a good comparison so I can choose - also if the VoiceLive Touch has extra stuff I wouldn't get by combining the 3 pedals please let me know.

thanks,
Michael/Olias

Re: Choosing which device(s) to use

Hiya Olias,

With the VoiceLive Touch you would get everything you are looking for except the "Anti-Feedback" function. Currently this feature is only available in the Correct XT.

In regards to "what else" you would get with the VoiceLive Touch as opposed to the VoiceTone pedals:

1) You would get up to 8 Voices of harmony (dependant on preset) as opposed to 2 in Harmony-G XT.

2) You would have the possibility to control harmonies by MIDI and Audio input as well as guitar.

3) You would have more general control over effects such as Reverb, Delay, Doubling, Hardtune and transducer effects.

4) You Would have the looping features contained in VoiceLive Touch and the ability to control this and several other key features via an external footswitch.

There are probably a few other benefits also which I haven't specifically listed. I would suggest you take the time to have a read through the full VoiceLive Touch manual which is available for free download from TC-Helicon's website via the following link:

Hope this helps!

Best wishes,
