Topic: Voiceworks plus, compressor question

I have a question about the compressor, becease it is reacting a little wierd.

It reacts olso as a expander in my case.

if i put threshold on -20db and the ratio on 3.2 he is not only compressing but olso making the mic louder!
It seems as if he wants to go to the specified treshold and this by increasing the volume.


ratio on 64
i talk 30cm from the mic.
treshold on 0db
nothing happens,  so far OK.
if i put the threshold to -10db the mic is getting louder...
on -30db its max. volume and i get realy strong increasment of volume.
- 40db the mic is getting less volume and -50db the volume it goiing further down.

I dont know if something is wrong?
