Please describe the Cuperto Technique

I read about Cuperto on David Jones' site voiceteacher.com and would like to know how to do this exercise.I tried searching on the web but could not any information on how to do it.If anyone here has any knowledge on Cuperto,I would love to know from you how to perform this exercise.
