Topic: Overload and unit lockup

Hello,

I recently got a TC-Helicon voiceworks. I have not been able to use it, since it very quickly, matter of 30 seconds or so, lockups. The input and output clip lights come on and it can no longer be controlled and needs to be shut off and back on again.

During power up, it gives some error message about the Kernal, and then is ok again for only a moment. I have turned both the Line Input and the Mic Gain to low settings.

I have also turned the -20dB button on.

I have seen some mention of an internal mic sensitivity setting. Where is that setting? Do you think this will help?

I can't see full lockups that require a power cycling to reset having anything to do with a sensitivy setting - it sounds like it has a greater problem than that.

I agree, I was hoping (more dreaming) it was something else.

I do have an email into support, but they tell me it could up to 4 days to hear back.
