Trouble with the voicetone correct in Australia

Hi, Just wondering if anyone can tell me how to turn the doubled pitch corrected vocal that I hear when I'm recording with my voicetone correct pedal. It's the old one and sounds great recorded (as it only records the pitch corrected track), but I have to listen to the doubled vocal which has a lag and throws me out when I'm recording. I'm running protools le8 on my mac and have the headphones plugged into the Mbox, but even with the headphones plugged into the mixer that I send my mic and guitar through, I head the doubled vocal. I'm sure it's an easy fix but just can't figure it out. Is it something to do with the 'guide' output? Cheers
