Topic: Make me sing like Brian Johnson !!

Here's my challenge.  My band does Classic Rock to include AC/DC songs. Our drummer sings these songs because he has the highest, raspiest voice.  We might be changing drummers and none of the rest of us can do these songs.  We don't want to drop the songs, nor do we want to hire a singer for 3 or 4 songs.  I would like to get a TC Helicon stompbox that would let me sing in my regular voice, with a rasp of course, but shift the output voice up an octave.  If possible, I would like to completely mute the live voice and just output the octave-up voice.  Does TC Helicon make an effect that I can do that with ?  If it included doubling and harmony, that would be even better.

Re: Make me sing like Brian Johnson !!

If budget permits I'd go for the VoiceLive 2.
Instead of muting the lead I'd have the lead blend in the mix with the octave. This will give you sort of a doubling effect wich can make the vocals a bit more powerfull.

But to be honest: you can't create Brian Johnson with any effect available. You can however create a nice illusion of the real deal with the VoiceLive 2! Be warned that the VL2 is a very powerfull processor that has a learning curve...
