Topic: Compatible Momentary Footswitch!

Is there any compatible momentary footswitch available for the VoiceLive Rack. I am looking for a single button pedal similar to the Boss FS-U5 that I am currently using for my Voiceworks rack. In this application the footswitch momentarily turns on harmonies within a preset while I am stepping on the pedal and turns them off when I release it. It works great with the Voiceworks rack but the Voicelive Rack does not recognize this pedal. It only recognizes the TC Switch 3 Pedal which is a multi button latching pedal. How this capability was overlooked in the VoiceLive Rack is beyond me. I do not want to use the mic control option on the MP-75 mic for this as I have a favorite wireless mic already. Please help if possible as this is the only way I can use harmonies on stage!

I don't know in voiclelive rack, but in voiclive 2 you can choose what to send to de expression pedal for every resets or for everything.

I don't have a global presets as I prefer to use the expression pedal for the general output for presets using distortion mmod and fx (so I can easily reduce it in case of feedbacks...) ahile I set it to harmony, or harmony+double when I want to regulate the amount of harmony in the song (for example in I want it all, or Detroit Rock City).
I know that Voicelive Rack have about the same software than VL2, so if you look in expression pedal settings (global or for presets..) you could find what you're looking for.

Unfortunately the VoiceLive Rack has no settings for an expression pedal as in the VL2. It only allows for the TC Switch 3 and the TC MP-75 mic. The mic can be set to momentary commands of individual parameters but the Switch 3 only allows for latching commands of parameters. This is a major problem for me in live use and renders harmonies virtually unusable!

I would really like someone from TC Helicon to chime in on this. I have sent the question to Support but received no response.

OK, one more thought. Can this be accomplished though MIDI command with the use of some type of MIDI Momentary Pedal? ON while pressing - OFF when released. Please help, I am running out of ideas!

To all who have viewed this thread, I have accomplished momentary control over harmonies via MIDI footswitch. If anyone is interested in this solution see my post "Need help with VoiceLive Rack MIDI applications" for information.
