I've updated my firmware to 1.1, and now I'm unable to record any sort of "playing loops" with my voicelive touch. For some reason my pc only receives te "microphone + effects" - and does not receive any looping.
How can I fix this issue ? I believe this should be a setting but I'm unable to find which.

I just downgraded back to firmware 1.0.01 build 348 -- and everything was ok. But I would like to use my microphone input, and there are some bugs related to loop mode in the old firmware, so I need the new firmware.
However, when I update to the new firmware (1.1.00 build 367) the loop functionality somehow is not recorded, and is not "disabled" by pressing the talk button, which is even worse ten having a few bugs on the loop itself !
Needing an urgent solution. Thank you.

I may be able to help here (or not), as I have used the VLT to record in lots of different manners adn found it to be very capable.
What DAW are you using to record?
Are you using only the USB interface or have you also tried to route I/O via a mixer into the DAW?
Maybe if you give us a little more info we can spot someting that can help.
Actually, I have not upgraded my firmware - didn't know it was available? I generally upgrade as a practice unless there are reports of problems. This is the first I have seen.
Hello. I have tried it with a cubase, wit a protools, with windows sound recorder and without a difference I was not able to get the loops in. The device is comnected through usb, and I am trying to record the only stereo out I can see..
About the update - my device came with a build 348 firmware, amd the latest one is build 367 which supports the touch button for MP75. I did not see the update from the software that came with the device, but downloading the update for the helicon software also showed me that there is an update for the driver as well..

I've got the same Undream problem!
VLT works on 1.1.0.0 367 and I Usb connect to my macbook: i can't rec my loops on garageband (on logic also), instead i can rec my voice.
What can I do? Please, help me!!!

Hi all,
USB output for Loops is currently disabled in build 367 (latest). It's a bug that was reported to us recently and several customers have confirmed it. It's in the fix list for the next update.
If you can record your loops via analog outs for now, that's a good option. If you have to use USB (no other interface etc.) I'd roll back to the previous version via VoiceSupport. You will lose whatever functionality was added via 367 and you should definitely back up your presets before reverting.

We just brought on a new software guy and part of his training is to go through the existing bugs and fix them. I'm not sure of an ETA, but it's been something I've been pushing hard internally for us to get better/faster at. I know that the USB output for the looper is on the list of "asap" fixes.
