Topic: Effects order

In what order do I hook up my Harmony G when used with a Digitech Jamman? I'm using these with an acoustic guitar, microphone, into a acoustic electric guitar amp with two channels. Thanks for any help! I love my harmonizer!!!

Re: Effects order

Heya textom2005,

I think it mostly depends on how you want to integrate the harmonies into your looping. If you want to create a harmony around your voice and loop that, run your G-XT first in the chain. If you want to create a loop, then have the harmonizer try to make harmonies around the loop, put the Jamman first.

From my POV, it's more conventional to run the harmony effects first and the looper second, since the results of harmonizing on a multi-layer loop could be strange to say the least. Of course, that could be fun to experiment with.

Cheers,
Craig
