Vocal Critique Request

I am a 22 year old singer/songwriter currently in the process of recording my first album. My music is heavily influenced by artists like Sam Cooke, Van Morrison, Bruce Springsteen, Phil Spector's Girl Groups (The Ronettes, The Crystals etc) and Bob Dylan.  I've been singing all my life but have never had any "professional" coaching or training. I am less than thrilled with how my voice is sounding on this record so far (performance wise) It seems to lack power, character and most of all proper control.  I was wondering if I could privately share one of my songs with someone here via email and get some advice on what exactly they think I need to work on?  I want to know how I can take the performance from just acceptable to fantastic.  My email is Ccernymusic@yahoo.com if anyone would like to contact me directly.  Any help would be extremely appreciated!
