I know your answer...

"Post new ideas in the "share an idea area" of the TC-Helicon website..."

But I'm not so sure... that is the best place to promote something... strongly

Better the forum.. with a lot of people pushing for the idea and...
you ... that bring to TC-Helicon our voice...

Some days ago I was thinking to a new item.

I have the TC-Helicon MP-75 great microphone.. I love it, for the sound etc... and I set a lot of presets of mine using the mic control switch for the shortcut.
I understand that this is the plus to sell this microphone over the other, but TCH believe in this microphone other than the switch... as they produce MP-70 too...
TCH at the same time have in mind the interest and the needs of singer.
A lot of singer have it's own realtion with their microphones, and someone prefer to use an Electro Voice N/Da 767, someone a Neumann KMS 104, others Sennheiser 945 and so on... naming great microphones, that have all the rights to be used at best with Voice Live gear.

So... the request...

Why don't produce a cable with mic cotnrol switch on the plug o close to the plug, so we can use the mic control with any microphone we have?


Please everyone agree with this idea push it in the forum... so TCH could consider this... very easy to realize... idea.

Would be an excellent idea, a bit like the mic cable that has an off/switch like this, but geared towards the tc-helicon mic control.

Note I am not endorsing this or any company, but this is the kind of idea, but switched to react like the MP-75 button.

with a friend of mine tried to interpretate the changing impedance, voltage or similar with a tester pushing the mic control button to create a own switch... but with no success...

There was another thread I had made a suggestion for a foot switch control box to emulate the MP-75 switch. I'm a guitar/keyboard player and controlling an effects unit by means of a switch on a mic simply isn't in the cards for ease of use. Foot switch control and the ability to use any mic I wanted would be a killer combination for singing performers that also play instruments.
