Topic: I don't think i have a head voice | Some other general vocal issues

Hi guys,

I started singing about a month and a half ago, and i aimed at increasing my pitch range. With a singing program called Singing Success by Brett Manning, i did really well atfirst and managed to hit 3 notes higher in 2 weeks. However, as i continued on with my exercises, i could not comfortably hit the next note higher, no matter how long i worked on it. I would always have to strain or belt to reach it, and could never hold it. This has been getting on my nerves for a month now, and i'm not sure if its because that note is where my chest voice ends? or have i not been exercising enough? Also, if i try to go higher, even if i strain, my voice just disappears and nothing sounds. I don't think i have a head voice, because when i relax my diaphragm and sing with my head, i go into falsetto, and for some strange reason, the lowest note of my falsetto is an octave higher than the highest note of my chest voice, so its incredibly inconvenient. Could i possibly have vocal damage, which is why i dont have a head voice?\

Thanks,
Raymond
