Volume control for unit

I just bought the the Taylor V-Cable which is a quarter inch cable with an in-line volume control - the control knob is on the end that plugs into the back of the unit. I just tested it and I don't hear a degradation in the signal and it seems like a good solution to the lack of master volume control for the unit.
I got mine at Guitar Center for $49.99, but just found it on Sweetwater for less (there are options for cable length and impedance).

There's plenty of space to plug it in and I found it easy to access. It feels like it's well-made and also has a nice "clicks" for on and off.

UPDATE: used it at a gig (VL Touch through a PA) and it was fine.
