Topic: Transducer Help!! (ASAP)

I am trying to get a live transducer sound between the distorion and megaphone sound. The problem is, my band practices in headphones where it sounds fine but in a live situation is hiting feedback from hell. I need to figure this out before a gig so specific settings would be helpful. I am going for this sound:

Please help! I need this sound but where it works on a live stage.

Re: Transducer Help!! (ASAP)

You can reduce the intensity of the effect. Reduce the dB level of the effect. It will be lower in volume, but it will be heard, and do the effect.

Other fixes may include, repositioning of the wedges, reducing compression, using in-ear, etc.

Maybe that will help.

Re: Transducer Help!! (ASAP)

Hi mcalldp,

Transducer effects are very prone to feedback, since they impose such a large eq curve into the signal. All of Diawana's suggestions are great and you can also try raising the Gate threshold on the Transducer, so that it kicks in at a slightly higher volume level.

Cheers,
