Topic: T1 vs Create XT Tone button

Hi guys and gals.  I've been looking into the Create XT and the T1 for some time now, and am currently debating if its worth getting one over the other or both.

I do like all of the other features of the Create XT, but its a shame that you lose the control over the amount of De-es and EQ.  Can anyone with T1 experience attest to how much they move the knobs away from the 12 o'clock setting (which is equal to the "tone" button on the XT).  Is it worth getting both units?

Hi redsleighdown,

The T1 and the "Tone" button on Create XT are both adaptive and really only differ when you make adjustments to the knobs on T1. There are a few "Tone Presets" on Create XT that you can access by pressing and holding the Tone button, so you might find that it's flexible enough for you. Obviously a variable pot on the T1 offers more control than a preset though.
