im planning to put my rode nt2a or condenser or the tc helicon mp75 dynamic in  voiceliveplay gtx and from there, straight in my motu ultralite mk3...then straight in cubase 6 etc...
do you think ill have good results?

Hi Dimitris,

That will work just fine. You'll need to nudge the effects/harmony tracks that you record so that they line up with the original Dry track, but that's pretty quick and simple to do.

Keep me posted on how the recording goes!

can you explain my friewnd cause i really am a newbie?

Re: voicelive play GTX user question...owners and TC men please help

Sure. When you send the dry vocal out to the GTX for processing, there's a bit of latency introduced as the processing happens. What you'll notice is that the recorded effects/harmony track comes "late". You'll need to manually line up the newly recorded effects/harmony track so that it lines up with the original vocal and sounds great.

Here's a terrible picture, drawn with my keyboard.

---OriginalVocal---
    ---EffectHarmony---

See how they're not lined up?

You'll need to move the ---EffectHarmony--- so it's in sync.

---OriginalVocal---
---EffectHarmony---

Does that make sense?

Cheers,
Craig
