Topic: Voicelive 2 on the desk

Those of you that have your VoiceLive 2 located on a desk/shelf, I have a quick question. Do you find the foot-switches hard to press? I am going back and forth between this and the rack mount and I have a shelf above my keyboard (with rack gear and space). I think the VL2 would be more versatile in that is mobile.

I can put it on the floor under the desk, but it would compete with other pedals for space and be a tad more difficult to tweak. Of course if there was an PC "editor" (hint hint..) than this would be a mute point.

Thanks

Re: Voicelive 2 on the desk

I use the VL2 both on the floor (stage) and on my desk (studio).  The footswitches are easy to operate with your hands; you don't have to slam the unit to engage these buttons. The desk is the best location anyhow to edit your settings and your presets imo.

I do use a document holder to put the VL2 in a more slanted position. This way I can see the display without having to lean over the unit. Below an example of a documentholder you can use to place a VL2 on.

Thanks...I have the 3-button for the Voice Prism and they are fairly stout. I was planning on building a matching holder to my desk for mounting this, but the document holder idea looks great
