I want my voice to sound like a violin!

I am looking for software or hardware that can take a sound input made by a
performer by  whistling or humming etc and use this sound to produce an orthentic sound such as a violin, or some other musical instrument.
The performer would approximate the pitch of the note its length, attack decay etc and the software/hardware  would produce the note closest to the performers effort in the desired instrument voice.

Can any of TCH products deliver this, if not any ideas who?
