Topic: Question: VoiceWorks Plus + HarmonyControl Guitar

Hi, first of all, sorry for my bad english, I'm actually German speaking.

I've got a VoiceWorks Plus. I'm thinking about buying a HarmonyControl for Guitar because I'm not only a singer but a guitar player too wink
Now my question is: if I connect the HarmonyControl to the VoiceWorks Plus, and my VW Plus is in Scale or in Chord Mode, then the HarmonyControl tells the VW which Scales/Chords to use, right?!?? What, if I DON'T want this to happen all the time? What, if I want to program a custom scale for a certain song? I hope you understand what I mean .... I wanna ignore the HarmonyControl sometimes?
Now there's something else you must know:
I'm planning to control all of my gear with a midi-footcontroller. (I guess I'll need a Midi-Merger because the VW Plus only has 1 MIDI-In but I have two Midi-signals of course, the 1. is the HarmonyControl and the 2. is my Midi-Footcontroller).
Is it aaaanyhow possible to tell the VW Plus via MIDI to ignore the HarmonyControl sometimes?? Is there any Midi-command I can do this with? It is very important!!

Hiya Benkenobi,

The On switch can be turned off when you want the product to ignore the HarmonyControl’s output.

Unfortunately I don’t believe there is a MIDI command that can be sent to the VoiceWorks Plus which will cause it to ignore the HarmonyControl input. Sorry about this.

Thanks for your answer. I tested the combination of the both units. It didn't work for me, unfortunately.
