VL vs. VL2 help!

I bought a Voice live 1 (still in box) just about the time the VL2 came out (kinda feel burned)and it's still in the box.

Do you know of any chart comparasons between the two..or could you say what the  differences (functionallity)  that make the VL1 obsolete making a VC2 move a more practical solution rather than trying to making the VC1 do the work of a VC2.
