Marissa Jerome – Forget You cover

Hey guys! So my name’s Marissa Jerome, Im 17 years old and I love to sing! I have been doing youtube covers for about 8 months and have been getting great responses back from the covers! My Boyfriend cover by Justin Bieber has almost 1.5 million views, which is very exciting for me! I am working on original songs and in the studio often! I will be releasing my first original music video this summer and will continue pushing myself as much as possible! A little more about my background! I started singing in my grandmas choir that she directed when I was 4 or 5 years old. Since then I loved it and never wanted to stop! I live in Boise, Idaho but travel to LA, California often! Since I started singing I have appeared in more than 25 musicals, 2 independent films, numerous commercials and voice overs! I love everything to do with music and performing! I would love to continue it out as a career forever! I love all the people that have helped me this far and I am so excited to see what the future holds!

    Is that a condenser mic? It seems like you’re singing too close to the mic. If it’s a condenser try stepping back a little and putting up a pop shield too. Give the vocals some room to breathe.

    Hiya’ Marissa,

    Wow we’ve got some powerful gals singing this month.  It’s been a real treat.  Well, you’re just great, fun, and have a wonderful voice.  So how come you don’t do something interesting with that green screen?  I’m truly digging your vibration Marissa.  Thanks for sharing and never stop singing my friend!
