But there are some exceptions to that (including Einstein himself) and certainly Ruby Turner who exemplifies an artist focusing with passion on music for music's sake. I think this explains the phenomena of the one-hit wonder. The artist created his hit when he had passion but with his new-found success he has grown up, he has been corrupted and he has lost his childlike passion and hence cannot recreate another hit.
